Bergenia ‘XXL’

An impressive selection from Bob Brown at Cotswold Garden Flowers with large, thick, muscular, shiny foliage, reminiscent of a cabbage. The ruffled pink flowers are unconventionally doubled, with 1.5x the petals and stigmas, and have a dark pink centre. They are held in dark red calyces atop an attractive bright red stem. A highly ornamental specimen plant that you only need one of to make a statement. Great for container planting or as an evergreen feature in the border.
