Scott Galloway is a botanically trained horticulturist based in Glasgow, Scotland. He started his career as a horticultural trainee with the MacRobert Trust before working for the National Trust for Scotland and the Royal Horticultural Society. In 2023, Scott graduated from the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh Horticulture with Plantsmanship degree. He now works in biodiversity policy, developing strategic responses to the twin climate and nature crises through a horticulture lens, and leads on a number of nature restoration and urban greening projects.

His area of interest is in woody and perennial plants of Central and East Asia, with a particular focus on the conservation and study of Bergenia and its relatives.
