Bergenia white flowered
An attractive white flowering Bergenia found at RHS Wisley. Long, strap-like, dark green, glossy evergreen leaves with long petioles and an open habit. Pure white flowers held in pink-green calyces atop short, red-pink stems appear in spring.
Not available in trade and so far only found at RHS Wisley from which it was sourced for the RHS Wisley trial in 2007. Deserving of a name and being more widely grown in cultivation.
