A new introduction from Terra Nova nurseries in the US. It forms a compact clump of small, ovate, glossy, leathery, dark green leaves that are blushed red in autumn and winter. In spring, dense clusters of lavender pink flowers held in deep red calyces appear atop short, pink-red stems.
