A new introduction from Terra Nova nurseries in the US. It forms clumps of paddle shaped, pine green leaves that turn a deep purple-red in autumn and winter. In spring, green-red stems reaching well above the foliage carry dense heads of attractive, upright, rose-pink flowers that are reminiscent of older Bergenia varieties. Entered trade in the UK in 2025.
