Bergenia ‘Pugsley’s Pink’

An old variety from H. C. Pugsley with attractive, medium sized, bright green, upright leaves and vibrant purple-pink flowers held in rich red calyces atop red stems in spring. The foliage colours up well in winter, turning bright red underneath and purple-red on top. Noted to have 'very showy flowers, good stem colour and foliage' by the RHS during the Bergenia trial 2007-2009.
