Bergenia ‘Perfect’

A historical name listed in the RHS Plant Finder from 1998. There is very little information available online or in literature about it. Aileen Stocks notes in the Hardy Plant Society booklet on Saxifragaceae that 'The carmine red flowers have a drooping habit; about 25-30cm high, with small leaves.' It was once sold by Buckingham Nurseries but is no longer found in trade in the UK. Plants are still available in Europe.
