A Chris Chadwell introduction from the Himalaya with large, glossy, dark green, deciduous leaves that have a thick yet soft ciliate margin. Dense heads of attractive white flowers, fading to pink with age, appear atop branching pink-red stems in early spring. A rare form to find for sale nowadays.
