Bergenia emeiensis Pink form

A pink flowering form of Bergenia emeiensis from Mt Omei in Sichuan, China. Pendent clusters of rose pink flowers held in red calyces open on tall, branching green-pink stems in spring. Foliage is typical of the species. Beth Chatto’s Plants and Gardens sells this named form exclusively but many specialist nurseries will sell both white and pink forms. Best to check before you purchase depending on preference.
