A very fine modern cultivar with large, muscular, rhubarb-like, leathery, dark green, pink flushed leaves that turn a glossy purple-red in winter. Dense clusters of deep rose-pink flowers open in spring from dark red calyces atop a thick pink stem. A superb ground cover. Introduction attributed to Marco van Noort Vasteplanten.
