Bergenia ‘Dickerchen’

A highly attractive cultivar from Stauden Eskuche with smooth, leathery dark green, ovate to obovate leaves that turn a deep red in autumn. The margin is blushed purple-red and the petioles a prominent pink, turning red in autumn. In spring, thick red-pink, branching stems bear drooping clusters of bright pink flowers held in dark red calyces. Very rarely available nowadays.
