An excellent hybrid introduced by Rosemarie Eskuche in Germany. It has an erect habit with smallish, leathery, upright leaves that take on good colour in winter. Very well suited to container growing or the rock garden. Its intense, deep pink flowers open from dark red calyces. It has also shown tolerance to drought.
