Bergenia crassifolia CUBG (1000-6608)
An excellent clone of Bergenia crassifolia found growing at Cambridge University Botanic Garden. It has smooth, upright, bright green leaves with a toothed margin, changing from serrate to dentate. Overall good habit that is well suited to rock garden and container growing. A much more attractive crassifolia compared to the leathery, large leaved clones typically found in cultivation. Unfortunately not available for sale but can be found growing at CUBG. There’s also no information on its provenance or accession into the garden’s collection.
