Bergenia ciliata f. ciliata Kew (1969-35415)

Found growing at RBG Kew, this form shows remarkable similarity to the Bergenia ciliata var. ciliata received from Far Reaches Farm and Monksilver Nursery. The dark green leaves are rounded with a prominent red toothed margin and are covered entirely in a mat of short, soft white hairs. The pink-red petiole is sparsely hairy. Flowers are yet to be observed.
