Bergenia ‘Autumn Magic’

A repeat flowering Bergenia forming an attractive clump with a rosette of bright green, upright leaves, that turn a deep liver red in autumn and winter. Its cerise pink, semi-double flowers stand well above the foliage in a cluster atop red-pink stems. If happy, it will flower in spring, mid-summer and autumn.

A popular cultivar in garden centres, where it can be picked up quite cheaply. If you want a no frills Bergenia with a longer flowering season and winter interest, then you can’t go wrong with ‘Autumn Magic’.
