Bergenia ‘Ice Queen’

A rarely grown but unique cultivar. Forming a tidy clump of neat, strap-like, leathery, dark green foliage that turns orange-yellow and flushed red on the margin before dying back in the winter. In spring, the most extraordinary creamy-green flowers emerge in a dense cluster from petal-like apple green calyces, atop a short green stem, followed by attractive green fruits. Commonly available.
