Bergenia cordifolia ‘Vallonchêne Aureomarginata’

A variegated introduction from La Pépinière Vallonchêne in France. It forms a neat clump of rounded, spoon-shaped, upright, bright green leaves which carry irregular, creamy-yellow marbled variegation. In spring, dense clusters of attractive pink flowers open from green calyces atop a pink-red stem. Not available in the UK but can be sourced from France.
