Bergenia cordifolia ‘Robusta’
A Karl Foerster selection from 1956 with medium sized, rounded, dark green leaves and an upright habit. Very rarely seen nowadays, it isn’t even grown at the Karl Foerster Haus und Garten in Potsdam. A much improved cordifolia that holds well through prolonged frost. Flowers are yet to be observed.
